You are welcome in the Story Museum North Commewijne. The story museum is located in the historic plantation house at Plantation Frederiksdorp that dates back to 1760 and offers a collection of previously unrecorded stories of older and younger residents of the district. Through more than a 100 personal stories and memories, you wander through the past and present, through different vibrant cultures and colorful traditions and through long kept secrets and big dreams. The stories are displayed in a unique, interactive and colorful way. The building consists of two layers and is rich in, among other things, a museum room, library, photo gallery, reading chamber and conference room.
